Out in the woods, there’s a carnival that wanders and drifts from town to town, from city to city, countryside to countryside, and from victim to victim. Those who enter are granted ten golden chips. Those chips: their humanity. They may use those chips for whatever they want: games, rides, attractions, or just surrender

Some of the attractions are just mindless entertainments; left to numb and dumb a frail mind into accepting the changes that would wash over them. Others, well the greater of the fools - those who work at this damned camp - decide to put stakes on some of the games.

It’s always night at the carnival. The only light to filter down to the narrow alleys and galleys between tents is that of the pale moon; ever glowing and ever watching.
